We have had many people asking how to achieve
a traditional look on stairs, using a 27" stair runner & Stair
Rods, but not
with the £50 per sq. yd. price tag.
One way is to locate a company who whips the edges of carpets (like
sample books), your local retailer or wholesaler should be able to point
you in the right direction. Then have your stair runner cut from
any broadloom (12 ft or 4m wide) carpet and whipped. The main plus
points of this option are:
1. It looks very effective
2. Its a lot cheaper to do than being forced to buy expensive
Axminsters.
3. Your choice of carpet styles and colours are endless!
